We were lucky enough to catch Tim's Uncle and Aunt - Chu Long and Co Tuyet Anh - during their stay in Tokyo!
We decided to meet up with them for lunch at one of our favorite local spots, Kaoriya Soba. They had been touring Japan with two good friends and were ending their trip in Tokyo that night. In addition to viewing beautiful temples, zipping around on the shinkansen, and trying delicious new foods, the ladies rented kimono and took gorgeous photos around ancient Kyoto.
After our soba lunch we headed over to Harajuku to check out majestic Meiji Shrine and to take a walk down Takeshidori. I think they got a kick out of the crazy, girly street. And then it was time to wave goodbye. So glad that we got the chance to see them while they were on our side of the world!
